SERVICES OVERVIEW

Flexible Claim Program Design

No one size fits all – you've heard it before but the truth is that in the world of P&C claims management every client faces different risks even if they operate in the same industries. Clients located in different jurisdictions, with varying employee populations and customer bases, require a collaboratively designed customized claim program to optimize service and results for their program. We offer flexible programs that include

  • Flawless transition and implementation processes
  • An empowered and engaged Account Manager
  • Access to an easy to use, web-based & paperless RMIS system
  • Bundled and unbundled service options

Our unique programs focus on reducing Total Cost of Loss, while achieving enhanced outcomes – and we back it all up with competitive fees and performance guarantees.

Account Management – Empowered to Succeed

Our Client Services team is staffed with account management professionals who understand that client satisfaction throughout our engagement is the key to TRISTAR’s success. The designated account manager is responsible for all aspects of our   relationship from supervising transition and implementation to annual stewardship and report cards on our results. As an independent team within TRISTAR, Client Services has the authority to act in the best interests of our clients.

Flexible Design – Programs to Suit Each Client

Our flexible program design extends to the structure of our claim service models. We regionalize Workers' Compensation, designating examiners by client in each of the offices where our clients face exposure. These professionals have the knowledge and expertise in the Workers' Compensation regulations of the states that they service to properly manage claims to their best conclusion. For Property and Casualty claims, we generally recommend managing claims from a single office, which enables us to dedicate examiners to the extent that the client claim volume allows. Our approach delivers a team of claims professionals that understand our client's business operations and act as an extension of their internal claim management team.

Industry Experience – Powering Results

Each client’s risk profile is different and although we serve clients across all industries, over the years TRISTAR has worked with many clients that are concentrated in specific industries, enabling us to develop industry leading best practices that are particularly effective in delivering superior outcomes. Our professionals are expert in helping to transform risk in the following industries:

Public Agencies:

  • Municipalities
  • Utility Districts
  • Transportation Systems
  • Police and Fire Departments
  • School Districts

Private Industries:

  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Transportation
  • Construction
  • Retail
  • Hospitality

Examiner Caseloads – Time to Deliver Results

Claim professionals must have manageable workloads to proactively manage, not just process, claims to achieve the best possible resolutions. Through adherence to our customized claim handling instructions and an aggressive diary system TRISTAR examiners, supervisors (who carry no personal caseloads), and managers consistently monitor activity and caseloads to maintain caseloads within acceptable norms. That said, our commitment to flexible program design allows us to modify these caseloads to suit an individual client's program needs – one more way that TRISTAR custom service models help to transform risk into opportunity.

Managed Care – Reducing Cost and Helping Injured Workers

Managed Care is a critical component in delivering superior outcomes for our clients, particularly in the Workers' Compensation arena. Our integrated service model includes our TRISTAR Managed Care division, which works to reduce loss costs while returning injured employees to work safely and quickly. Vendor Partners – Ultimate Flexibility

TRISTAR offers a flexible vendor model that delivers quality, cost-effectiveness, and overall adherence to TRISTAR's Best Practices. We understand that sometimes our clients may want to independently select and oversee a managed care provider, defense counsel, or other vendor and we work with them to ensure the best value and outcomes if they do. Vendor assignments will be handled in accordance with TRISTAR's Best Practices and client instructions, but our examiners will always maintain ownership of the file through the life of each claim.
