TRISTAR accesses various networks and
has the ability to develop a network for
our clients that serve to drive higher
penetration rates and higher savings.
Many of our inpatient facilities have
HMO discounts that are the deepest
discounts available. In addition to a
national network of medical providers
and facilities, TRISTAR provides access
to a Durable Medical Equipment,
Radiology, and Pharmacy Network. Our
networks may be accessed via the
Internet, and information regarding
providers can be given to the client
members. Bill Review and PPO Network
Access reports are given to the client
that demonstrate to the client the
billed charges, fee schedule reductions,
PPO Discounts, penetration and
utilization statistics.
With providers who focus on occupational
medicine, chiropractic, neurology,
orthopedics, psychiatry, podiatry,
dentistry, physical therapy, and
acupuncture, our network providers have
been specifically selected with input
from employers, claims, and medical
professionals. All providers have a
background in Workers’ Compensation and
disability management. This network of
“primary treating physicians” and
ancillary providers for diagnostic and
physical medicine support continues to
grow in size, geographic availability,
and in TMC’s commitment to improve the
custom built and high quality nature of
the TMC medical delivery system.
In addition, TMC has additional access
to a large, national network of
providers and facilities to compliment
its primary physician network; both
through direct contracting of additional
providers and facilities and the
exclusive distribution of TMC provider
networks. This group of providers is
supported by TMC’s medical management
systems and available as its TMC
network. And, to better serve its
customers, TMC has strategic alliances
and/or lease arrangements with national
networks that maintain a Workers’
Compensation specialty component that
makes up the TMC PPO network.
TMC’s “mosaic” of PPO networks has over
651,000 unique provider and hospital
locations throughout the United States.
